Ingredients for 6 people:
- 300 g of fagiolina
- 1 small onion
- celery and carrot to taste
- salt to taste
- 1.5 liters of water
- 300 g of corn flour
- aromatic herbs to taste
Procedure:
Rinse the green beans under running water and boil them. Chop the onion, carrot and celery and season them in the oil heated in a pan. Add the green beans and cook them for at least ten minutes.
In the meantime, prepare the polenta by pouring the corn flour into a pan with lightly salted boiling water. Stir continuously to prevent lumps from forming. Cook for at least 30 minutes and, towards the end, add the green beans, continuing to stir slowly for a minute.
Season with aromatic herbs to taste.
