The Instagram page, born in 2022, today has over 17,300 followers. From disco nights to literary nights, from concerts to parties… to always be up to date.
What are we doing tonight? What are the weekend events? Are there any parties? We have all asked ourselves these questions, over and over again. To answer them, Festini Perugia was born in September 2022, an Instagram page that today has over 17,300 followers. A virtual bulletin board to consult and where you can find events in the Umbrian territory: from parties to concerts, from festivals to disco parties, up to literary evenings and cultural meetings. There is everything.
The idea came to Guglielmo Salvetti, a student at the University of Perugia, who, together with other guys, thought of creating this place to keep out-of-town students and all the people who live in Umbria (the target ranges from high school students to over 35s) updated on local events with information, costs, genres, places and transportation. «Festini Perugia – festini refers to university parties organized in homes – was initially born as a WhatsApp group to make acquaintances and friends, then, together with other guys, we created the Instagram page that we update daily. We started from Perugia and then expanded to cover all of Umbria. We also added a WhatsApp and Telegram channel as a community, to help everyone make new acquaintances, chat, exchange ideas and organize group outings and much more. It’s a real success! It is also important to consult the stories where, through infoboxes, you can ask for all the information on the evening that interests you most: from the price to the location, from the genre to the means of transport and the presence of any shuttles” explains the creator.
