Chi ha rubato il mio formaggio?: three days dedicated to Umbrian dairy excellence in Todi

From April 24 to 26, 2026, an event featuring haute cuisine, guided tastings, and the agri-food supply chain

Todi (PG) is preparing to become the capital of taste from April 24 to 26, 2026, with “Who Stole My Cheese?”, an event that shines the spotlight on Umbrian cheese, a three-day event showcasing culture, business, and fine food and wine.

The event will focus on regional cheesemaking excellence, showcased through its finest products and interpreted by top-level chefs, who will showcase Umbrian cheese in a contemporary way without betraying its authenticity and roots. This dialogue between tradition and innovation promises to transform every tasting into a unique experience. Alongside Umbrian producers, selected producers from other Italian regions will also be present.

The opening event, Friday, April 24, will be dedicated to the business world with the B2B forum “Connecting Roots – The Economy of Taste,” hosted in the Sala Vetrata in the Portici Comunali. A moment for agri-food industry professionals, with a particular focus on the dairy sector, to connect on sustainability, innovation, and new market opportunities.

On the weekend of Saturday, April 25th and Sunday, April 26th, the historic center of Todi will come alive with the Village of Taste, the beating heart of the event. In the stunning Piazza del Popolo, producers and dairies will showcase the best of Umbrian and international produce, offering the public tastings, direct sales, and opportunities to meet the region’s finest products. Enhancing the experience will be tastings led by ONAF (National Organization of Cheese Tasters) professionals, true “cheese sommeliers,” who will guide the public through the sensory characteristics, production techniques, and the most refined pairings.

The program will also include masterclasses, cooking shows with top chefs, educational meetings, and experiential workshops, designed to showcase cheese not just as a product, but as an expression of Umbria’s culture and identity. There will also be space for younger generations, with activities designed to introduce them to the world of dairy products and local traditions.

The initiative, sponsored by the Municipality of Todi, the Umbria Chamber of Commerce, and ETAB, is organized by AboutUmbria, Academy Montecristo, Ilenia Nizzi Academy, Made in Italy Lab, ONAF, Studio Grafico Fiorentini, and other local partners.
